Periods of employment
Periods of employment are:

Periods of employment in employment contracts that are subject to the provisions of BUAG;

Periods of leave (additional leave), as well as periods for which holiday compensation is guaranteed;

Periods of loss of working capacity due to illness (accident), workplace accident or occupational illness for the duration of the employment contract, or if the employment contract ends during the loss of working capacity, for the duration of the compensation claim provided for by law or collective agreement in the case of such loss of working capacity;

Periods of loss of working capacity for other reasons for which there is a claim to compensation payments;

Periods when work is interrupted due to bad weather;

Periods of absence from the workplace that are explicitly approved by the employer (max. 1 day);
- Periods of training leave (§ 118 and 130 (3) ArbVG).
